The AI Prompt Enhancement feature helps you write better instructions for the AI Assistant. It takes your simple request and enriches it with technical details, domain context, and sample data from your catalog. This ensures the AI understands exactly what you need, especially when dealing with complex e-commerce or accounting tasks.

When to use prompt enhancement

You’ll find this tool helpful in several situations:

  • When you’re not sure how to phrase a request for the best results.
  • When the AI doesn’t give you the expected result on the first try.
  • When you need to perform complex operations like mass updates or data mapping.
  • When you want to ensure the AI uses correct Czech e-commerce or accounting terminology.

How to use

1. Open any AI-powered dialog, such as the [navigate:/products|AI Assistant|bot] in the Products view.
2. Type your basic request in the text box.
3. Click the **wand** icon or the **Enhance** button next to the text box.
4. Wait a moment while the AI refines your prompt.
5. Review the enhanced prompt and click **Submit** to run it.

What the enhancer adds to your prompts

The enhancer doesn’t just rewrite your words. It adds critical context that the AI needs to be effective:

  • Domain Context: It adds specific knowledge about Czech e-commerce standards and accounting rules.
  • Schema Details: It includes information about your entity fields, like code, price, and visibility, so the AI knows which fields to target.
  • Sample Data: It uses examples from your actual data to help the AI understand the format and values it should expect.
  • Role Specialization: It tailors the prompt for Product and Merchandise Information (PMI) specialists.

Examples

Filtering products

Before: “find cheap shoes” After: “Filter the product catalog for items in the ‘Shoes’ category where the price is less than 500 CZK. Ensure the products are currently visible and have stock > 0.”

Updating descriptions

Before: “fix descriptions for electronics” After: “Update the description field for all products in the ‘Electronics’ category. Ensure the tone is professional and follows Czech e-commerce standards for technical specifications. Focus on highlighting key features and warranty information.”

Tips

**Tip:** You don't need to write perfect prompts. The enhancer does the heavy lifting for you. If the enhanced prompt looks too complex, you can still edit it manually before you submit it.
