Managing Labels
Labels allow you to categorize and organize your data efficiently. You can create taxonomies, apply labels in bulk, and filter records based on their tags.
Creating a New Label
To define a new label in the system:
[navigate:/labels|Open Labels|tag]
1. Click the **Add New** button in the toolbar.
2. In the editor panel, enter the **Name** for your label (e.g., "High Priority").
3. Select a **Color** to make it visually distinct.
4. Optionally, choose an **Icon**.
5. Click **Save** to create the label.
Bulk Tagging Records
You can quickly apply labels to multiple records at once using the Mass Update tool.
[navigate:/products|Open Products|package]
1. Select the records you want to tag by clicking their checkboxes.
2. Click the **Tools** menu in the toolbar.
3. Select **Mass update**.
4. In the dialog, ensure the **Manual bulk update** mode is selected.
5. Choose **Labels** from the field list.
6. Select the label(s) you wish to apply.
7. Click **Update** to apply the changes.
Filtering by Labels
To find records with specific tags:
1. Click the **Advanced Editor** button (settings icon) in the filter bar.
2. Click **Add Condition**.
3. Select **Labels** from the field dropdown.
4. Choose an operator like **contains any** or **in**.
5. Select the label(s) to filter by.
6. Click **Apply** to view the results.
Importing Labels
To sync or import labels from an external system:
[navigate:/labels|Open Labels|tag]
1. Click the **Tools** menu in the toolbar.
2. Select **Import**.
3. In the Import Editor, paste your JSON or CSV data.
4. Verify the preview shows the correct label definitions.
5. Click **Save** to sync the labels.
